Get ready for this year’s Love Outdoor Play Festival!


The Love Outdoor Play Festival taking place on Friday 30th August , is the finale of what has been a highly successful summer for ‘Love Outdoor Play’. Play Gloucestershire have been involved in this campaign as one of their aims is to encourage children and families to play outside more often.

With a fantastic array of events happening at the Love Outdoor Play Festival, this is the perfect opportunity for children to just play, before starting back to school in September! Play Gloucestershire’s Play Rangers will be at the festival offering an exciting mix of den building, arts & crafts, games and whatever play ideas the young festival goers come up with.

The event itself will be running between the hours of 11am and 3pm and will be taking place at the University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls Campus.

Love Outdoor Play is campaign headed up by Play England, and calls on everyone to make sure that more children can play out more often. There are many different ways you can be involved in this fantastic campaign.

Here are just a few ways that Play England suggests:
